The Performanceparts replacement KTM 1290 Super Duke brake disc buttons / floater allows to change riveted brake discs from semi-floating to full-floating brake discs. Also as replacement buttons / floater for worn stock parts. Simply mount the hard anodised brake buttons in exchange for the stock brake buttons.
The brake disc buttons allow the brake disc an exact centering between the brake pads. A floating rotor will find it's own optimal path through the brake caliper. They also help control disc warping under hard braking by allowing the braking surface to expand and contract naturally. Due to this you get a much better brake performance. No reduction in braking power, no brake judder, extremely good brake control.
